This game is just what one should expect if you have played the original Left 4 Dead-new characters, new weapons, new levels, and some new gameplay modes. It doesn't seem terribly original, but it is entertaining. If you haven't played the original Left 4 Dead, and are totally new to the series, there is no reason you cannot just jump in on this one, it is an improvement in every way (except for maybe missing out on some of the original characters phrases), and the stories aren't really connected other than occurring during the same zombie outbreak. The controls in this game are pretty standard for shooters on the 360 and are easy to pick up on. This game is lots of fun if you are a zombie fan, and it has tons of replayability with all of its different game modes and online matchmaking. There aren't a whole lot of levels for the story mode, but that is how the first one was, so I guess that's just how these games have to be for now. It is sad that you can only do 2 player split screen games, but at least they have split screen-so many games rely upon only having online multi-player anymore. The bottom line is, if you like zombies and have a 360, then you should buy this game! It is well worth the its current, relatively inexpensive price. -- Just what one would expect...

This game is a great continuance of the first game.More weapons more infected. Only 1 mode in multiplayer off line is only downfall -- left4dead2
If you're a social gamer, you can't beat the L4D games. Buy a single copy and blast away with a buddy. Oh, BTW, there are many other game modes as well. -- Best Split-Screen Co-op Game to date
