User Reviews about Guinness World Records: The Videogame
We absolutely LOVE this game! Got this on a buy two get one free preowed sale at gamestop. Found a few $9.99 games (so got it for $7.21 with tax) and we have never regreted this purchase. Perfect for the competitive set. Basically you are trying to beat records. And fun ones at that. TONS of games with lots of different motions(most I've ever seen in a game). Great workout (especially the BMX bike ramp jumps...I have the regional record on that right now :) The watermelon crush is my families favorite. Customizable characters which my daughters love. Connectible to the internet to get the latest records in the wii community. We laugh a lot and still haven't unlocked everything. We are too busy trying to beat the records on the first ones :) I can not recommend this game enough. We love, love, love it.
Down sides (there always are a few)...some of the games are hard to figure out initially, but once you do you can't wait to try to beat those records....also wish all of the records updated when you sync the game, they only sync the records you have broken.
No its not Wii Sports or Wii Fit Plus, but for our family its #3 and that pretty good since we have 20 games. For $7.21 you can not ask for more :) -- Best Wii game after Wii Sports and Wii Fit Plus
this game is definitely tons of fun when you play with a group and you all compete against each other. It's also a nice way to burn some calories. -- Awesome and Fun
We love Wii games which make us get up and move and have fun. We just bought this game and I can't say we are impressed at all. The "how to play" indicators are confusing and don't tell you ALL of what you need to do for each challenge. Some of the games are rather boring. This just isn't as good as we expected. Outdoor challenge and Monkey Ball Super Banana Blitz or Rayman Rabbids 2 are still more fun if you want an "active" game. -- Not as much fun as expected
This game makes sport of doing some tricky maneuvers with the wii controllers and seeing if you can break the record. Some games are suitable for young children's skill level and others require more dexterity. Lots of fun and involves different motions than other wii games - definitely do recommend. Some games also appeal to boys who appreciate being grossed out. -- loads of fun
